Swatches & Review: Makeup Revolution Ultimate Pro Contour Palette

I have dabbled with contouring products before but I've never really found one that suits my skin type, is easy to apply and blend, and is actually within my budget! I decided to buy the new contouring palette from Makeup Revolution while I was looking through the new products page on their website.

On first impressions, the style and shades (minus the two shimmery shades) are almost exactly the same as the Anastasia Beverly Hills  Pro Series Contour Kit in light/medium, making it the perfect dupe palette at a much more purse friendly price. It contains 6 matte shades, 3 lighter ones for highlighting and 3 darker ones for contouring, and 2 beautiful shimmery baked highlighters.

I'm happy to say that I've finally found a contouring product that I can get to grips with. The shades are so easy to apply and blend so well as they are so smooth and velvety. When using a cream contour palette before, I've found that they don't last the distance on my face and because I have combination skin, they either make it more shiny or cling to dryer patches. I can safely say that this palette doesn't make my face shiny and lasts all day. I would recommend this product to anyone who prefers powder contour palettes over cream ones, and anyone whose budget doesn't stretch to the higher end palettes but likes amazing quality makeup. Another stand out product from Makeup Revolution. You can buy the palette for only £8.00 by clicking here.
